zoom shot picture This well-known workshop has emanated from the mechanical engineering company Habermann, looking back on a fine tradition. After several stages as the repair workshop for Zeise Propeller (Hamburg-Altona), Ostermann Propeller (Cologne) and DMR (Dieselmotorenwerk Rostock), Schaffran Propeller + Service GmbH took it over in May 2000 together with the complete staff.

By this evolution, we can maintain the high quality propeller repair service in Hamburg.

Based on the propeller design department in the Lubeck head office with their decade-long experience, we conduct repairs and modifications of marine propellers of every size, right in the heart of the port of Hamburg (inside the free trading zone). If desired, surfaces can be polished down to an average roughness below 3 microns as required by ISO standard 484 (1981) class "S".

This service can be extended by employing additional capacities of the parent company in Lubeck, like machining or controllable pitch propeller service as well as the delivery of new CPP blades or monobloc propellers up to a weight of approx. 6,000 kg or even complete shaft installations.
